Live SES San Jose 05 Session Coverage

As we have done in the past, we will be covering the upcoming SES show.

I will personally be adding my coverage to the forums here and updating this thread.

Over at the Search Engine Roundtable, we will be having triple coverage. That means, 3 out of the 4 sessions will be covered at all times (mostly). I have posted the SES San Jose Triple Play Coverage Schedule for your review.

We are looking forward to it!

Google Dance Party - Talk w/ Google Engineers

This post needs to be moved, so I apologize in advance. I went to the Google Dance party just to get to the "Google Temp Tech Talk" where they had about 6-7 Google Engineers meeting & talking with small groups of people. It was pretty interesting. I asked some fairly specific questions related to search results, spamming, etc. and came out of it ... well... we at least were all are speaking the same language. They were definately interested in poor search results and that will ultimately be a Good Thing.!!!

Question Who are these guys?

I recently heard that there is a search engine from a small startup company that can read Mandarin Chinese characters, understand Arabic and other languages, and can learn kind of like an artificial intelligence program. I also heard that this search engine is currently used by many fortune 500 companies. Any info on what the name of the search engine or the name of the company. I heard they presented at the SES San Jose 05 Session...thanks
