I have used keywordmax in the past and it is a solid less expensive tool

I'm using semonics for monitoring. One of the benefits is this is web based service and you don't have to install any application on your computer.

personally they need to apply more to their site - just dropping links is not going to be enough

Has anyone tried the Rank Checker plug in for Firefox from SEOBook? I have used web position for a long time and have recently encountered some problems and tech support has not been to friendly so I installed the Rank Checker plug in yesterday and it looks like it may work for what I need. But I have not gotten into it much yet, but hey its free so you cant beat that.

let me know how you like it as I havent really been able to play with it much yet. However, for just basic rankings tracking it looks like it should be a good tool. Even has scheduling capabilities.

Google recently made changes in the way they show results which caused at least one ranking tool to be virtually useless.

They seem to have stepped up their efforts against automated queries...
