Search Monkey YDN
Am I the only person that thinks this is one of the hottest things in the market right now?
Or maybe, I'm one of the only people dumb enough to post it to the forums where everyone can jump on it before we all have a chance to exploit it and lean the nuances? I just foresee some golden opportunities that I don't see in practice yet. I will be testing all this week and next week. If anyone is using this, please speak up and let me know of any pitfalls of successes. Thanks! |

Re: Search Monkey YDN
Does look like a worth while effort. I'll probably play around with it these next few, to see what happens. Will keep you posted.

Re: Search Monkey YDN
I spent many hours developing the necessary microformats and publishing throughout my site making sure that everything was perfect.
Til this day, I have seen absolutely nothing come of this. It was supposed to be much like googles new addition of linking google base to your adwords account where you can see images of product, prices, ratings and key pieces of info right at your fingertips. Also, this is the basis for Bing??? It's like they just dropped the ball. here is a place to see a pretty graph of the ball droppage http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/06/05...-yahoo-search/ I am really frustrated that I spent a ton of time building for this to be on the cutting edge and someone forgot to flip the switch to "ON" For anyone unfamiliar with search monkey, here is what it was *supposed* to do: http://developer.yahoo.com/searchmonkey/ If you saw a few of these go live, yahoo would steal all of Bings' thunder in an heartbeat. |
