Regional Adwords
I am sure that it has been asked and answered before and I'll get skewered for not using the search function but here goes anyway.
What triggers the little black location marker under the display url on regional adwords ads? When I use the ad targeting preview tool some of my ads in different regions show the black location marker of the region, others do not. Ie.. Widgets From Hell We have the absolute demonist widgets, these things are wicked 666-666-6666 www.demonwidgets-dot-com Heaven <---------------This is what I am referring to. Since I test ads with local phone numbers this clearly creates a audience trust issue as those ads number pre-fixes aren't going to jive with the location marker. Re: Regional Adwords
That line appears based on your location targeting. If you select a metro area it will display a standard city location for the area.
An easy way around this is to do point-by-point selection of the region. You can do this under your location targeting preferences. |
