As a matter of fact getting listed in google in under one day is very easy.

1-First at all you should never use the google submission form or any other of the search submission form.

2-Go to google and enter the keyword that you think is most related with your site.

3-Browse throw each site paying atention to the google page rank of each website.

4-Once you have see the best ranked sites, you should see wheter they have links pages, normally you will see the index page that say resourses, related sites, etc.

5-If you can achieve to 1 PR5 website to link yours, probably you will be indexed by google in 3 days. If you can do the same in with one PR6 site, you will be indexed in 24 hours.

6-Purchase links from page ranks websites.

I think u can type URL in google search and if found not indexed it might say "did not match any documents", below this u can find something like add URL here, u can add the same for getting indexed. You can also use yahoo answer for getting the site indexed faster.
