Thumbs up Any tool to get the Search Engine results?

It becomes a long process to check manually to get the SE position daily. Moreover one has to note down the search results. If there is any tool to get the Search Engine results with all these features.

It would be preferbly in perl or php script.

it could be very helpful.

Re: Any tool to get the Search Engine results?

Hi moneyauto,

How many terms are you checking per day? Also, approximately where does your site rank currently for those terms (page 1 or page 100)? Search Engines (Google in particular) are very aware of "automatic querying" and that can sometimes lead to problems.

I don't have any script to monitor site ranking but you can try this SERP checker

Re: Any tool to get the Search Engine results?

I use seoelite or webceo but there are other tools around. Yes google are aware of "automatic querying" but it wont do cause any problems. IMO this is all speculation and have seen no evidence to support that google will frown upon anyone.

Besides, its just not logical. If this were the case I would spend the next 6 months querying my competitors websites

Re: Any tool to get the Search Engine results?

We built an in-house tool that could check the ranking. I can put it up as a web service, if you are interesting. Let me know.

Yes it is nice to have this link.
It would be great if there is a script available for free.
