Piko Technologies is proud to reveal we have been working on a new algorithm based search engine especially for webmasters.

As some of you may be aware, our robot (PikoBot) has been crawling various websites for some time now. We are now at a point where we have enough confidence in our little creation to be able to start taking suggestions for inclusion in our search engine index.

Well at the moment we are only building our index using websites related to helping webmasters.

Although our main page does tallk about hosting, if you look towards the news articles you can find more info, and add any sites you know of that may be relevant.

I'm sorry you feel that way. We intend to create a search engine but we are certainly not doing this to promote our own services.

Once our product is ready for release it will be done so on a completely seperate domain and which will not be there to advertise to users. Our aim is to create a search engine that is useful and brings the results you want, first time every time.

As for the music on our website, the whole front of piko-technologies.com is under review at the moment. So I'll pass on your comments to the development guys.

Yea, I develop Flash content and that intro is definitely not user-friendly. Every time I go back to the home page the intro starts up again... Try writing a cookie or using a Shared Object to check if the user has been there before.

That's not a search engine - that's a site offering webhosting!

Not only that, it's using an old hat cheap template!! Doreo - the company hosting phpbb - were using the exact same template before we redesigned their site for them.
