I have a site that was recently split from our main website as a newly positioned product. Formerly, this domain (
www.agencycentral.com) was forwarded to a portion of the main website as a product section. Splitting the content was done through a 301 redirect on the product pages that were relevant on the main site, and the redirection of agencycentral.com was removed. The site was deployed on July 21st. After a couple of months of link building and careful planning, the site recently attained a Page Rank and backlinks with the Google update that took place late last week. Also, the site's pages are fully indexed, with the proper listings (does not seem penalized).
A few things bother me about the process thus far: The 301 redirects that were put in place from the old product pages on our main website did not retain their rankings in the organic search pages (new pages did not replace them). The site doesn't show up for any organic results in the Google engine, even though it has fairly strong optimization and now has Page Rank and back links recognized.
Can anyone give me any idea as to what might be going on or how long it might be until I see some organics? I am still new to the SEO arena, and I value any suggestions or input you might have to offer.
Thanks,
Infinite
