Wedding Bells For Rustybrick, As He Proposes Via Ask Jeeves!

Our very own and much loved and respected by all of us here at SEW Forums - Rustybrick (Barry Schwartz) - has asked the major big-time question of a lifetime - at ask.com - so where else but ASK?

He's blogged about it with details, screenshots and links

First Ever Wedding Proposal via Search Engine

Isn't that cutest, sweetest ever?

For those of us who know Barry, Yisha has gotten herself quite a catch, and judging by the photo she looks like a real sweetheart. I don't know about how sentimental you are, but this really warms my heart, and I'd like to wish them both the best of everything and hearty congratulations!

Yes, I saw that too, and agree that it gives for warm feelings. Loved the family stories, too. Great presentation and sense of humor.

Yisha and Barry, I, too, wish you the best years together, and much health and happiness.

Congrats Barry!

I wasn't sure how long the listings would last so I made a couple of screen captures and posted them: Searching for the Perfect Bride at Ask.com

I'm glad the two of you have found who you've been searching for

Ian

A live web feed of the wedding would be cool.... be interesting to see how many people log in and join you for the wedding... start another record.

LOL! Very creative proposal Barry! It will go down in history.

Seems like we'll find all of the wedding images by search then ... right?

Congratulations!

Barry,

I was in New York last week and didn't get a chance to check in with you. Sorry about that. However, looks like you were busy doing some human manipulation of results over at Ask. Yes, we all know it goes on

Congratulations to you and Yisha, your beautiful bride to be.

Now: What do we search on to find our invitations

Barry - What an originally romantic way to propose! Many, many congratulations.

I can't wait to see the searches you use for the vows.

Congratulations to the both of you!

Certainly romantic and an undeniably unique way to propose. Ridiculously charming idea Rusty, kinda like finding the ultimate Easter Egg except it's not from a DVD or video game, but a Search Engine!

Awesome!

Wow this is wonderful news. I wish you both the best of luck...does this mean you will have someone to help you with the blogging at SEW? Someone to make sure your laptop batteries are fresh?

Very creative use of a space that you command admirably, rusty. Congrats again to you and your beautiful fiancee.
