yep, I have to Thank Danny, firstly giving me the chance to speak at San Jose.

WOW what a time .. Tim Mayer of yahoo gives SEO's BlackHats and Shari a chance to meet the yahoo search engineers to discuss the new 19.2 Billion Index and latest Updates.. then takes us all to the all Amercian theme park.. how can any one beat that !!

Matt Cutts, beats him .. hahaha yer he did, at 10 o'clock he pulled me, chris_r and jenstar out of the googledance ( I only hard one drink ... pfffft ), and for the next 5 hours . yes 5 Hours we toured the plex and chatted on sofa's near one of the micro kitchens inside the plex.. at 1.30 Larry and Sergey turned up.. Sergey hung out with us for just over 1 hour, wow what a guy, very honest and down to earth, at 3.00am matt gave Me, Chris and Jen a lift back to the hotel in his car ( The car I tease him about all the time, matt listen to your wife mate )

all this would not have been possible if it was not for Danny, So thankyou

Now, there's an understatement.

I'm assuming that Dave didn't shake hands with anyone at the 'Plex, especially Matt or Sergey. The resulting black / white explosion would have turned most of California into an open cast mine....

I don't know what his title was but when I was near him....

I sure I heard him mutter "the spam is strong in this one, master" at that point I wanted to go and look at the micro kitchens again

I don't think it will be possible for another conference to beat out this one! How can you top meeting and chatting with Larry and Sergey

My best time at a conference yet! Larry and Sergey was the highlight for me, but meeting with the YPN team, MSN team, and various AdSense teams/people ranks near the top too... and of course, the Yahoo campus tour was pretty cool. And it is always nice to meet in person those you chat with via phone and email on a regular basis.

Can't agree more - simply a terrific time and a real opportunity for everyone in every side of the business to benefit. I felt like this show was more productive and more fun at the same time than NYC or Toronto earlier this year. There seemed to be more expo activity, great participation in sessions - lots of unique people asking relevant, unique questions - and a group of some of the finest people I've met so far (although I can't count Larry & Sergey among that group).

Danny - Superlative job, it couldn't have gone better (unless, of course, my plane hadn't been fogged in on Sunday)

Dave, just for kicks, do you remember the name of the young search engineer who spoke to us in the Meet the Engineers room - I want to say it was something like Shaty or Shaupti - mid-late 20s, east indian, big smile and seemed to know a few of the guys there from previous encounters...?

BTW - Thanks for the nice blog mention, too. I've been waiting to post until I had something to link to.

Hey, you're welcome everyone, and thanks to all of you who came and made it such a great event. I loved hearing about the drive-by Dave and Jen and Chris got! But if those Google results start looking funky, we'll know where Dave snuck off to for some of those 5 hours
