Google showing drastically reduced number of documents

Has anyone done any searches where you know you should be seeing thousands or millions of documents but Google only reports 10 that exist?

Just noticed this, and my cache was emptied and my G cookies were deleted.

Heres a screen pic.

I haven't noticed that before. I just did the same search:

Results 1 - 100 of about 795,000 for illinois real estate exam

I saw this the other day for the term "money management plans." said results 1-10 of about 11. When I clicked on the second page, it said, 11-20 of 18,000,000- I clicked back on the 1 at the bootm and it still showed 1-10 of 11. Weird. I have been following this particular term, and today it shows 18 million where before (up to last week sometime) it showed well more than that. something is stirring in the system, that is for sure.
