Text wrapping in HTML Editors

The site i am working on has the bulk of its text content about 50 lines down. I noticed in the HTML view that many lines of text have been put onto the next line by the HTML editor simply so it can be read easily. Would it help if i have all the text on one long line, or does it not matter? (Don't worry, when it comes to viewing, there is no difference..)

Cheers.

I would reccomend not to have it all on one line. Try to get a copy of the Accessibility Standards from the W3C, www.w3c.org, I think they reccomend 66 characters per line.

SE's will read the content either way, but not all browsers will be able to handle too many charachters on one line.

Which editor are you using?

Hope that helps.
