NoMorePayPerClick?
A client of mine got a pitch from a company called "nomorepayperclick.com". Has anyone here done business with them before?
They're associated (formerly, according to the rep.) with some fairly disreputable organizations, but my client is rather curious about their results-or-your-money-back guarantee. Also, the rep. says they use a "smart bot" to optimize the page according to specific KWs for each spider. I can't seem to find anything about this type of optimization, either. Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to go back to my client with proof as to why he should or should not use this service. Last edited by blakej : 05-12-2005 at 01:34 PM. Reason: Typo |

-looking at the surrounding link profile does not reveal much on the positive side.
-the ironclad guarantee doesn't even state a persons name. in fact I did not see one on the site, although it stated " Nomorepayperclick is a division of Naturalphrase and is not affiliated with Searchclimbers or Windowpositions." -at the very least ppc could be a self funding or cheap form of gathering relevant marketing data. smart marketers view marketing expenses as an investment. their name implies that payperclick as a whole is worthless or that people should not do it.

- a marketer cold calls you up out of the blue - their site has little or no surrounding linkage data - they claim to sell a service to improve your rankings, which is likely heavily dependant on linkage data - their identity on the site is not easy to find if you don't know who your potential business partners are and they do not go out of their way to make themselves look credible then it is not something that makes you feel comfortable and want to plunk money on the table.

Thats called: Cloaking ![]() Nothing wrong with that, except, most search engines don't like it in many cases. So the next question that comes natural is: Are they doing this on your domain or their domain? If it's on your domain you REALLY need to be 100% confident about what they do. If you get penalized it will be your domain that suffer. If it's on their domain then you ned to look close at what pricing plan they offer. In my opinion you should never prepay on domains the SEO own - only pay for the value it gives you (visits, leads or sales). |
