IMO it should... If you offer quality information and/or discount people reading about your stuff probably would go to your site.

RSS feeds can help maximize the traffic coming into your website. They can help increase your inbound links if any of those sites using your RSS place a static link back to your website. RSS feeds can also help increase your brand recognition which is a plus. If you decide to do an RSS feed the key is to make sure when people use your feed on their website that small snippets of your information is placed on their website. This way people will go to your site to read the article, which will help increase your traffic. You want to make sure that the snippets are large enough to grab the reader’s attention and leave them wanting more, but small enough to insure that your information is looked as unique. You do not want Google seeing duplicate content everywhere on the web. If your content / information on your site is good and unique, I recommend that you try it out.

As from my experience it can be done like that based on how you set up the RSS feed in the first place. It might be possible for people to still scrap the whole feed even if you do not want them to.
