Interesting thread on Update

Even though most of know the Google dance/updates are a "slow waltz" and is not consistant between all the datacenters, I would like to have everyone's opinion on this post:

FYI, Michael Martinez (and J.K. Bowman as well, who I dearly love) have long been special favorites of mine on the SEO forum circuit. And generally speaking, neither are ukgimp's observations usually shabby or easily discounted. When the dude speaks, it's worth our time to listen.

Let's not discount or disparage theories and theorizing as easily as some are wont to do; anything that gets us to "THINK" and critically and objectively analyze for ourselves has inestimable value, well beyond the content of the specific posts themselves.

Whether or not there's agreement with the opinions and/or precepts, there's never been one single post of Michael Martinez that I haven't learned something from, if only for the simple fact that I've been challenged to think beyond my usualy perceptions and to venture "outside the box."
