AdWords Enhancements in Store?
I just took a survey Google sent out regarding the Google Advertising Professionals program and there were some interesting questions that suggest some enhancements may be coming:
None of these is ground breaking, but it's interesting to see what Google has in mind. Several AdWords sales tools were mentioned as well. |

I'm sure the SEO/SEMs that manage upper five and even six figure PPC budgets have more sophisticated suggestions than I will.
However, I think for many AdWords marketers, these two suggestions from the survey would be very useful: - Online forum to share tips and ideas with other Google Advertising Professionals - Best practices manual (web site and/or blog) for marketing and selling AdWords effectively Also, if search frequency data could be included with the keyword suggestion tool that would be excellent. Any other suggestions? |

Overture, FindWhat, Espotting (and in fact every PPC I've dealt with both sides of the pond) provide monthly traffic stats in their projections.
Google provide it for a day's traffic in the AdWords tool. It'd save time if they offered a "for 30 days" option in this. And improved the accuracy (not that the others are brilliant). Last edited by KeywordMonkey : 02-01-2005 at 12:41 PM. Reason: A monkey took over my keyboard |

Thanks!
Thanks for the recent additions to this thread, and I hope you'll keep them coming.
As many of you may know, I send out a weekly Advertiser Feedback Report to a pretty large number of Googlers (hundreds, actually) who have actively asked to be on the mailing list - because they care what is, and is not, working for advertisers. So, this is a really excellent chance to be heard by the folks behind AdWords. BTW, I'll quote you verbatim, space permitting. AWR |
