¿ Google image index update ?
¿ Anybody could confirm it ?
There was a new word without results since april and other new word since september without results and now both they have.

How can you tell it has been updated?
It looks the same to me. They certainly didn’t add any of the missing photos from the Abu Ghraib prison torture scandal.

There was a SEO competition started in april. The word was telendro (a new word without results in google) and since april there werent results in the image search. Today there are.
There was another seo competition with another new word (started four month ago) . Now there are results for that search (seomaker) in google image results.

Thanks for the explanation - although for some reason I don't get any results for either of those terms either.

It seems they are updating the index. And thats the reason sometines the results are old ones.

Well that explains why I started getting hits from Google Images this week. Every time I followed the refer back, my photo wasn’t there - just a red x, so I couldn't figure out how someone was finding me, but maybe they have been briefly appearing in the results for a few days now. That would be great news!
