Am I being penalized by google or what?

I have been researching seo for ages now and have done everything I can think of (and lots of tests) to get my site in the top 5 positions in google.Some have worked, some have'nt and some have worked breifly and then the pages have dissapeared.

I would be really grateful if anyone could tell me if I am employing any bad tactics on my site www.funky-wellington-boots.co.uk. If I am not, then I would appreciate any advice or if anyone knows a good (and good value!!)company to promote me.

I can't see that you are doing anything real bad, but IMO you have failed to do a lot of good things.

• You could have used a search engine friendly dynamic menu and used some keywords as links in it.
  You could write a better page title and description
  You could have used page headers
  You could have sourced more anchor text links for your site
  You could have bought a domain name with a .co.uk extension and got your own web hosting located in the UK.
  
  And probably some more, but you get the idea.

If you want to promote your site properly then you need to do more research or get a professional to help you out.

First thing is to take care of this. Apparently the domain name is "pointed" to the site page, and it's giving a 302 temporary direct server header

Temporary redirect is not the way to get a domain into the index and ranking. Mel's right, it needs a regular host with the site located on the domain name. If not possible, a 301 is a less serious difficulty but still presents issues - but registrars generally don't do that.

There is certainly a lot I don't know about this! Is anyone interested in sorting out my website? Or can you recomend anyone? I have just paid google a ridiculous amount of money for my Christmas sales and I am desperatley seeking a company or individual to optomize me for google and yahoo top 5 or top 10 placements.
