What exactly is the difference between "paid inclusion" and "pay-per-click?" Thanks...

Paid inclusion is where you submit pages of your site to a search engine to be organically ranked in the natural search rankings.

Pay Per Click is where you bid on keywords and you find your ads on the sponsored links at the top and right portion of the search results page.

I will add to what Barry has stated. The Paid inclusion is normally a one time fee per URL, while the PPC is a recurring charge for every time the link is clicked.

Paid inclusion (PFI or PI) does have a recurring cost if you use Yahoo's SiteMatch - a one-off fee per URL and a cost per click, set by industry.

Pay Per Click (PPC) used to be called Pay for Performance (PFP) by Overture.
