I have just seen that Google's new Google Groups has gone live, though still in Beta. My site, one page in particular, gets quite a few mentions from those helping others. Today, when I clicked the link to this page, I got a page (from Google) that reads "Redirecting you to......."
Is this something new and if so, what do you think the purpose is? My hope is that it will be used by Google to gauge a pages popularity. |

Hey Dave,
THANKS for this info. I post all of our new affiliate programs to Google groups even though it's hard to tell how many people read it and I don't think I have gotten many hits. This is a brand new look and layout, PLUS it's syndicated to you can pull it out through an RSS feed it looks like. Hopefully once it comes out of BETA it will get lots of attention. It looks like it does redirect links so may not help with link pop or PR??? Between this and MSN's new blog space I have some hot traffic ideas brewing. Thanks so much for sharing. Glad I saw this post! |

I personally like the New Google Groups Layout, it came out before for a short period of time and then disappeared, Probably they were testing,
Now I see them live, Hope we can see some news in google blog soon, There was a posting before about the new release in google blog according to blog.outer-court.com but now it seems they removed it, |
