Hi everyone. I thought you might all find this interesting. I'd always wondered why there was space to enter up to 10 ad sitelink variations when only 4 (max) would ever show up. So I ran a little experiment. Here are the results:

We ran another little test on ad sitelinks and added an update to the bottom of the article. We found an example where Google was not rotating the sitelinks, but did occasionally switch in one (seemingly at random) from outside the top 4.
Also, the sitelinks that show up seem to be completely unrelated to the search term used. If anyone has seen anything else interesting related to sitelinks, let us know! |
