In my personal case, working for clients has been doing well but in countries like mine (Costa Rica) people won’t pay too much for the SEO services.

So, besides that, building a network of sites and selling advertising plus the adsense from Google is where I get my income source…

For sure, no doubt! Right now is not “too” good as the “golden” years back to 1999

and in free time i work on my own site.
Its also give me good income....

I think working for clients is good source for SEO. And, one can also take an advantage of Google Adsense and increase their pocket money.

Yes it is good to say that the best source is the working for client in the way of promoting the products and site also providing the facilities for the reader or the visitors on the site that is done by having the site promoted in the globe.
