One Toolbar To Rule Them All!

Hello All,

I would like to obtain your feedback on a new bit of search technology that we have been working on for a few years and have just moved from beta to official release today of: toolbarbrowser.com

This new tool makes most Toolbars obsolete, including our own Trellian Toolbar. A Single toolbar to rule them all!

A bit about the ToolbarBrowser.
It is a Toolbar management tool and a complete Toolbar authoring system. Its aim is to put an end to the Toolbar insanity that has been invading our browser space over the last few years. Toolbars can be very useful, but the problem is that everyone seems to have one these days and most only have one or two features that you actually want or need.


- Imagine if you could take just the features you want from the many toolbars you may have installed, and combine them into a single super toolbar.
- Imagine if you could reclaim browser space by making most toolbars obsolete. Even the standard IE buttons and links bars.
- Imagine if you could manage dozens of separate toolbars in a single tab control.
- Imagine if you could write your own toolbars as easily as you write HTML pages, and share these with your friends, clients and web site visitors.
- Imagine if you could add new toolbars at a click of a button without having to install new software, and uninstall them just as easily.
- Imagine if you could write your own toolbars in XML, HTML, Java, JavaScript or even Flash.
- The best part is that the ToolbarBrowser is freeware.

I couldn't find an online demo in action in the site. It might be a good idea to have an online trial version, so reviewers can have a test drive without having to download anything or submitting any log information.

Simply there is a single download of the client so that you can see how your coding on your site converts the toolbar to carry your programmed features.

As a note there is no "facilitating log-in information". There is a rank feature similar to Alexa's rank, but this can be fully disabled in the Toolbar Browser at will.

So not too sure what you mean by an "online working demo " ... nor that this is possible??

If you referring to something similar to:
Trellian Toolbar Features
if so this can be added to the site without any problems.

No. It may be a good idea an online working version at your site so reviewers can test it without having to download anything. It could be a special area "for beta testers/reviewers" only. See

I have read that post a few times already, technically not sure we can create an online working version as the technology behind this requires an intial software instal.

Eitherway, please keep sending over the feedback. Especially on the current or lack of or potential features, hard/ease of use, etc...

We wish you great success with your new toolbar! In line to Orion's request, perhaps you can do a FLASH video demo tutorial (movie) of its functions and features. I'm sure that is something not very difficult to do for you guys.
