RushmoreDrive.com, an Ask spinoff aimed at black people, gave it up a few weeks ago and shut down.

Lesson learned: do not create a search engine with a 7-second load time for each view of the home page.

Interestingly, "search engine optimization" doesn't help if your product is a search engine. Nobody looks for a search engine with another search engine.

I dont think so, where to look for a new search engine then, if not on the existing search engine.
