basically it sends you to any ad without going through google... advertiser gets traffic but does not pay

no they can't - it works on the browser level - could go for loss of income but even that's not right

not really it is more for people who are testing - saves the clicks being counted given it is SEO people using it

In addition to Frank's comments, I'd suspect the number of "average users" outside the SEM industry who use the SEOBook toolbar is low....

I personally would love to see the world use it and drop Google to its knees but it is not happening... this is for industry people - who else uses toolbars

I agree with you, but sooner or later this tool certainly get popularity.
Did you noticed, that this tool shows direct link only for Google and not for Yahoo and others...
If tool has developed for industry users only this should works same in other search engines too.
Don't you think there might be a secret game against Google, because of its Chrome which is going to become major competitor of firefox now a day and by this tool.
