Yahoo Getting Negative on Keywords

Yahoo has made it nearly impossible to find where you add or edit negative keywords.
If you're struggling to find it in a logical place like ah in a keyword tab with your adgroup, but no you should look here.

First go to the Adminstration tab..?
Then click in the "Tactic Settings" box, click the link "edit" don't worry that there is no mention of any keyword settings here, just click the link. Now you have found where you can enter in your negative keywords at the campaign level.
You can also go to the adgroup, then click on settings, then tactic settings and find the adgroup level KW settings.

Load 'em up.

Oh yes, and you might be wanting to further reduce the possibility of bad traffic by turning off "advanced match" you know that nice little feature that expands a two word phrase into a million term trigger, yes that feature.. turn it off.

OOOPS

Now you can't use your negative keywords

Quote:
Excluded words can only be used if the advanced match type is enabled for Sponsored Search.
So you bite the bullet and loose all your negative keywords so that you don't have to use advanced match.

Now drill down into one of your adgroup level campaigns. Click on adgroup settings, now click on tactic settings and Guess what, all of the tactic settings still state that you have advanced match turned on!

Why would Yahoo! force you to use advanced match? Why cant I use negative keywords combined with "exact match" to have the best chance at targeted traffic? Why would Yahoo! Limit the number of sites you can exclude to 200? Why won't Yahoo allow you to see who their syndicated traffic is from and allow you to turn them off?

Come on Reggie, we've heard all your lawyer BS spin control on traffic quality lets see you back it up.
