Does Google Friend Connect Help Rankings?

Thought it was interesting that Google's Friend Connect page states: "Enabling Friend Connect on your site won't impact your site's rankings in Google's search results."

Re: Does Google Friend Connect Help Rankings?

Yeah, I can't imagine the plugins themselves would affect SEO, but if it's driving traffic through networking there's still inherent value to using it. I imagine it's akin to using any iFrames on your site, where the container content isn't actually crawled by spiders for the page it's on.
