AdWords help Google pull $1.73 billion/month
Google just posted strong Q1 results, and what better place to read them than on Yahoo..

Gross revenue is now at $5.19 billion, or about $1.73 billion/month. And we all know where most of Google's revenue comes from (clue, AdWords)

Not bad for tiny text ads

Yup, there's nothing like PPC text ads. A click here, a few pennies there, and pretty soon you're looking at $1.73 billion/month. Hey, I gotta figure a way to get into this business

I would have said try an support industry... but Google seems to buy them up and give them away killing industries behind them
