ASK email delayed...by 2 years?

So I get this email today about new features on ASK.com. First I only get traffic from ask VIA Google. Long, Long ago I tested a campaign or two at ASK with dismal results and I hardly remember the interface. So, I get the following email:

Quote:
As part of our continued commitment to deliver more optimization tools and targeting features to improve ad performance, we're pleased to announce the following new features available today:

1. Impression Reporting: Daily impressions are now available at the keyword, campaign, and account level.
2. Historial CTR Reporting: Now advertisers can view historical CTR performance.
3. Conversion Reporting in Client Console: Clients leverage our conversion reporting program can now view their performance directly in the ASL Client Console.

Impression and CTR data now available

With impression and CTR data, you can now see the direct performance of your ads across the ASL network. You'll be able to better measure how changes to your ads directly affect your ad performance. Among other things, you'll be able to see:

> How changes to your ad copy affect the CTR
> How increasing your Max CPC directly increases your exposure by increasing impressions
> Impressions and CTR per keyword
Is this for real? - Impression and click reporting is NOW available daily at the campaign, keyword and account level...Who in the world was using ASK to manage a campaign where you couldnt see impression and click data but for at least a day late?

Re: ASK email delayed...by 2 years?

Must have missed this thread.... I don't think Ask ever purges their email DB - our agency hasn't used them in 2 years either, yet we continue to get emails from them, including the one you posted.

That said, Ask didn't used to report impressions - only clicks. I always thought that was iffy, but when we were using Ask at MagazineLine we got good conversions, so I didn't worry about CTR. You are right - they are several years behind the times in reporting....
