Standard Web Measurements Still Not Here
Kate Kaye over at ClickZ has written a great overview of the state of standardized numbers for web measurements. What constitutes pageviews etc... the need for uniformity becomes more critical as our industry grows and it is time the IAB and others get organized for this.

Wow, Kate makes some really great points!
I'd like to see IAB team up on this with WAA (Web Analytics Association) so that standards could be implemented across the board. Terms like "Pageview", "Visitors" and "Unique Visitors" should have the same meaning, no matter what method of tracking is being employed. |
