differences between Google, Yahoo, MSN & Ask - thread
Hello everyone,
I think I know about a couple of differences in the ranking algorithms of Google, Yahoo and MSN (and remember reading about Ask that their algorithm was based on "hubs"), but I find this topic pretty interesting and was curious what other factors you guys have witnessed? How would you optimize a website if you were paid to optimize for Yahoo or for MSN (or for Ask) as opposed to Google?

yahoo and msn are filtering links as heavily as google

Hi,
did you mean aren't? or did you really mean are? I know aaron wall writes in his e-book that when it comes to filtering out low quality things it was like google > yahoo > msn (msn being the worst at it). Do you (or anyone else) know if this has changed or do yahoo and esp. msn still lag behind?
