Reciprocal Links Vs One Way Links

As i think reciprocal links are more beneficial to increase the pagerank of site although one way linking doing helping increase but not so much.

Yes but PR is Google's brand name for their authority score system. It is non-topical and keyword independent. No relevance is calculated.

Hi to all,
I'm merkel from medical transcriptions service,
my question is for medical transcription services we got 17th place in google and for medical transcription we got 57th place in google, butfor the last one week we are in above 100th page for the same keywords,i am in confusion, can anybody tell me the reason or way to rectify the problem plz....we dont have reciprocal links, i want to know why google ranked earliar top and why now went down.

yes one way link is much better than having a reciprocal link... the disadvantage of having a reciprocal link is that some sites are taking advantage of the time you must wait before they'll be placing your link to them... some do it after a month or 2, by that time major search engines' spider had already crawled the number of their backlinks including your contribution so what happen is that you'll be having an open link and the link which they have to place should already be counted but it's still in a pending status... the tendency is that your site will be left behind by your competitors...
