Well, I don't know what he's done for the site SEO-wise other than throwing a link to it, probably good enough in itself to get a struggling site to the first page.

The market is not at all competitive, evinced by the #1 site: no backlinks in Yahoo Site Explorer coupled with 10-year-old, ahem, SEO writing. With the number of backlinks the doggiemanners site has and a bit of real work there's no reason it can't be #1 in a matter of weeks.

So the trainer gets page one results and a personal reference from a fairly heavy hitter. A can of worms I would probably open again and again.

Jason is one of the most brilliant PR flacks the internet has seen in a long time, he has made a career out of visibility.

Actually reminds me a little of Ted Turner around the height of CNN.

I also think that for sure he is way too coy when it comes to lack of knowledge about SEO.

There are two sets of results rotating; one of them is fine and the other is atrocious. Check periodically, different data sets will come up that are really an eye opener.

Man, all I have to say, is until Calacanis can rank for Poker, Viagra, or something with travel, he's just spewing hot air.

Heck he can't even get Mahalo to rank for Search Engine in Google .... dog tainer in los angeles ... yeah how many searches is that a year? likely less than 500!
