Hi everyone,
Microsoft adCenter will be unavailable during an upgrade this Saturday, June 23, beginning at 10:00 A.M. Pacific Time, and continuing for up to 14 hours. During this time, your current keywords and ads will continue to run; however, you will not be able to access adCenter.

After the scheduled maintenance reporting may be delayed for up to 24 hours. On the adCenter Reporting tab please check the timestamp at the bottom of the page to see when data was last updated.

Can you confirm that this update will allow people to update negative keywords on a campaign level as well as at ad level as reported by Tamar? Are there any other juicy features you could let us in on for this update?

I got the email Tamar reported on also. Finally, I also got warning that some advertisers will be opted into the content network with this upgrade.

Hi Rob,
It's true that after the upgrade you will be able to add negative keywords at the campaign level. The other parts of this upgrade are back-end updates, no juicy stuff, sorry.

Some advertisers also received an email yesterday letting them know that their account will upgrade to Content Ads on June 28, as reported by Barry and Tamar.

Here's more info for those who are interested:

Advertisers whose campaigns are upgraded will have complete control over their campaigns and have the following choices:

•Hybrid: Run ads on Live Search and content pages using "hybrid" ad groups.
•Turn off Content Ads.
•Create content-only and search-only ad groups.

We understand that not everyone is ready for Content Ads at this time. For those customers who’d like to make sure their ad groups stay active for search distribution only, they can fill out this web form by June 26.

If you'd like more info please let me know - those customers who are upgrading to Content Ads on 6/28 should have all the info they need in the email they received, but let me know if you have further questions.

The Microsoft adCenter June 23 upgrade has been rescheduled for a later date. Your campaigns and keywords are running, sign in to the adCenter UI to manage your account. A future upgrade will allow you to manage negative keywords at the campaign level in addition to several features to improve performance. We’ll keep you informed as to when this future upgrade will occur. We apologize for any confusion that this may have caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Reporting is currently delayed, view the timestamp on the adCenter Reporting tab to see when your data was last updated.
