Evidence of Google Analytics increasing CPC
Does anyone know of any evidence or examples of where the cost of a campaign has increased because the advertiser started using Google Analytics.
I think that everyone here would agree that it is possible for Google to get up to all sorts of tricks if they wanted to by mis-using the analytics data. Having said this, so far all I can find is the tin foil hat people saying that they don't trust Google so they won't use Analytics just in case. Any case studies out there? |

GA is not being used to determine pricing.... if anything a good analytics program should be showing you how to decrease costs.

Does anyone have evidence of Wrondoing by Google?
I agree with your comments....that we should all use a system to monitor the behaviour of visitors to our sites.
My question centers around the issue of abuse by of the information collected by Google. I have a campaign running for a fairly non-comprtitive term. There are two other advertisers always there with me. I was paying 5 cents to take the third position. Nice above the fold position so I was happy. My site ranks number one for the term on Google and has done so for over two years. I added the Google tracking code and 18 days later I was greated with the comment that the word was suspended and that I had to increase my minimum bid to 31 cents. I can't understadnd why? Help anyone? |
