Help! Ads not showing up on AOL

I recently did a couple of queries to check our exposure and rankings across the engines and I noticed that not one single ad is showing up on AOL. I've asked my account managers at Google to look into this and this is the reply I got:

Quote:
"Based on our investigations, everything on [Google's] side looks good and we do not see any reasons your ads should not be showing on AOL. Please note that individual publishers have the right to prevent certain advertisers' ads from running on their websites. Since nothing on Google's side is preventing your ads from showing, you may want to speak with AOL directly. Unfortunately, we do not have any additional information on this matter."
Competitor's are milking our bread-n-butter terms and it's driving me crazy. I don't know for how long this is going on. I've checked 20+ campaigns for which we rank #1 and #2 on Google, but NOTHING is showing up on AOL. Every campaign is checked on to show ads on "Google Search" and the "Search Network".

Who can I possible contact at AOL to resolve this issue. Is there another thing I'm missing? As you know, there's a LOT of business I'm not getting because of this, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Interesting. All my adwords ads show on AOL, and their ranking is nowhere near the top position. In fact, it looks like my competitors who are in the top positions do *not* show on AOL. Strange. A few things to check..

1) Maybe try bidding lower, to get lower ranking and see if that makes a difference.

2) What about geo-targeting? Could that cause a problem.

3) As Google said, AOL may be screening your ads.

My geo-targeting is set to "All Countries and Territories". I set some to United States, and nothing showed up then either.

This is a wild stab in the dark, but could it be a budget issue? Maybe Google is prioritizing and showing ads first on Google.com, then on partners only if there's enough budget left? Have you tried increasing your daily budget?

I don't even know if that's how Google does it - just throwing out ideas here.

Umm.. so it's not geo-targeting and I'm sure it's not a simple budget problem. Maybe it's AOL screening for some reason. What type of product are you selling? And what type of wording do you use in your ad? Could it be violating some AOL TOS guidelines or whatever?

Don't know why this is happening, I have never heard of this before. You might want to check out AOL's new paid search offering, which is basically just a private label Adwords. I have been speaking to my banner rep regarding this. You may want to contact their display team.

I've toggled campaigns between Standard delivery and Accelerated delivery with still no results. I've also contacted AOL marketing, but haven't heard anything. Anyone else know what might cause this or who I could talk to?

I'd rather not get too specific, but I'll say digital media (no worries - all legal ). How can I tell whether or not I would be violating the T&Cs for AOL PPC provided by AdWords?
