Is AdWords conversion tracking having problems?

I've been using conversion tracking for ages. It's the primary metric I use to manage my campaigns.

Over the past few days I've noticed a sudden drop in my AdWords conversions/day. But, my total number of conversions/day has remained the same (measured independently of adwords). So, I'm wondering if this is an adwords reporting problem. Could there be anything amiss with adwords conversion tracking? I've not touched my tracking code for ages. But I did recently sign up for the PPA beta test, and I'm running PPA ads. Coincidence?

Has google deployed anything new recently that might effect conversion tracking?

I actually really doubt this, but I can't seem to find any other explanation. Anybody seeing anything similar? Any ideas?

Are you independently counting conversions that include the new PPA in the total? Perhaps they have had some problems integrating the conversions into the tracking code... though now that I typed it that would defeat the PPA model completely unless it was just how the two seprate out...

I'm really not sure what's happening. I'm just keeping an eye on things.. there is some indication now that the problem is going away.
