cant get google to spider issue?

Hi,

I am having a few problems that I have never had before on the site
railslodge dot com

I have submitted this site to be spiddered by google a few weeks ago now and it has still not been crawled.

As far as I am aware the domain is not banned and I am not doing anything wrong to have offended google.

Has anyone any suggestions on how to take this forward?

I tried visiting it and the sever response was extremely slow, as was a tracert. In fact when I tried to view the header responses it hung my browser for a couple of minutes. I'd say that is something you need to look at.

Are there any links pointing at the site? Once the server is working ok that's what you need to persuade spider to come calling - submission is a total waste of time.

I tried to peruswe through the posted site today. The server response time (which was probably slow, as depicted by Bill earlier) was nominal (almost fine), but the site has not been cached by Google, Yahoo, MSN as yet. I find nothing wrong with your site. Though SEs sometime take little longer than usual to crawl a site (like yours), therefore, I would suggest you hold your breathe for few more days. Beyond which, you may inquire the probable reason(s) from Google.
