Is G-mail showing thematic Ads?

How true is it that the corresponding Google Ads are thematic with the content of the incoming/outgoing mail?

E.g. if my mail is on job application, the Sponsored Ads I might see are Naukri.com, Monster.com, etc. in India.

The ads you see in your gmail acccount are contextual and are dynamically created depending on the content of your email. Google insist that they are not reading your mail and this is all done by webmonkeys....

Google's search queries are all delivered to an army of webmonkeys based just outside San Francisco. Hence the slight delay in returning results on the search term "bananas".....
