Good day,
I am currently reading ” Winning Results with Google AdWords” by Andrew Goodman (I got no feedback on it yet but you can check out the reviews on amazon if your interested.) In the book he mentions that PPC campaigns can help improve your page rank? Has anyone seen results in ranking based on PPC? Thanks R.Zaidi SEM guy from cold Canada ![]() |

According to the official word, your PPC campaigns have no impact on PR or indexing of pages. Now, I personally am inclined to at least think they could help somewhat with indexing. Mainly because Google knows about the page because you're using it as a destination URL.
Now in terms of helping PR, I am a little skeptical about that, but I certainly wouldn't say that it hasn't happened. I just know that Google has never admitted it has...at least as far as I know. |

PPC helps PageRank?
If this is really the case, I think this is a bit unfair to those who only likes to do natural results.

Where does Andrew say that AdWords can help improve Google PageRank (if that is what you are referring to)? I don't remember reading anything like that.

PR is based on how many sites link back to you ... so I dont see having a PPC campaign is going to increase the number of sites that are linking to you ... You can just cannot increase the PR like that...
