Search Engine Strategist
Working within Organics Media Services department, you will be responsible for leading the search practice in terms of SEM and SEO. You will work closely with the media, analytics, creative, and engineering teams to strategize methods for enhancing CTR and ROI on Google AdWords, YSM!, and MSN AdCenter, via analysis of campaigns, content, and testing alternative keywords for our variety of clients. Additionally, the focus of attention will also be dedicated to our clients web sites and working with the aforementioned teams to increase natural search ranking/relevance for the keyword list and stay on top of the current requirements from all engines in ranking sites.
Specific areas of responsibility include: Contribute to new business presentations Discuss trends and opinions to press and advertising industry Help build and manage Search team Work directly with media and analytics to research and develop effective keyword lists Plan, buy, and traffic campaigns, while implementing tests to analyze success Routinely develop and test new keywords to increase the search budgets effectiveness and efficiencies Create relationships to build inbound links to portal sites and individual pages Make suggestions around relevant content for copy sets and websites Focus on optimization including improving site structure, page construction, content, keyword lists, and copywriting Report on success of client campaigns Familiar with SEM/SEO tools Requirements The following needs, essentially establish the necessary professional background and experience parameters for the successful candidate: 5 years experience within interactive marketing with at least 3 years dedicated to search Self-motivated individual who is driven towards continual improvement of projects Analytically focused with the ability to recommend and implement optimization tactics from data intensive reporting Highly organized and great attention to detail Experience working in a cross-departmental/agency environment a plus Good Communication Skills Ability to develop and manage constantly changing project schedules Must have experience and expert knowledge in keyword research, keyword analysis, competitive analysis, and online media in general Thorough knowledge of Google AdWords, YSM!, and MSN Ad Center interfaces. Very strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Office software Effective experience identifying click fraud Experience with sizeable PPC budgets utilizing countless keyword configurations Experience with alternate sites server tools and functionalities for analyzing key metrics To apply: www.organic.com |
