Backcountry.com, a leading online retailer of outdoor gear, has an outstanding opportunity for a smart, thorough, experienced SEO Manager to identify, prioritize, and manage organic opportunities within our search marketing team. Summary • Work with SEM, Product Marketing, Content, Merchandising and IT teams to identify and prioritize organic opportunities (keyword lists, landing pages, content strategies…) • Measure and report on the effectiveness of organic campaigns • Report on industry trends and identify Organic search trends as opportunities for our business • Champion and train various internal departments on SEO Requirements • 3-4 years’ proven SEO strategy and implementation experience, ideally collaborating with a paid search team • 1-2 years’ management experience • Experience with KW measurement, research and prioritization • Ability and experience as a champion of SEO within an organization • Proficiency with SEO management tools (Alexa, Web CEO, etc.) • Can shine in a slightly chaotic, fast-paced environment • Ability to communicate with a wide range of people (engineers, writers, merchandisers, management) • Bachelor’s Degree • eCommerce experience a huge plus To Apply Send a cover letter, resume, and salary history to jobs@backcountry.com with SEO Manager in the subject line.
