Was Spammed by SEW

Did anyone else just get a pile of emails about posts you were subscribed to? I must have gotten 100 emails....

Yes hangover for sure...the mail server must have backlogged a bunch of forum-post notifications.

Looks like someone was playing with vBulletin, perhaps accidentally resetting the "last visited" subscription field for users - making people receive emails about posts which were made in the past.

Sorry to any and all users effected by this, I'm sure that the SEW team will ensure that this never occurs again.

Yep, the system upchucked earlier.... (it was not just the forum, but that was a big part of it)

I'm so, so, so sorry about that everyone... Still not sure why it happened, but i'm definitely making sure it doesn't happen again.

I also got tons of backlogged help requests that i had not seen before, so I've now spent the entire day catching up on them.

It was not that big of a deal... just worth a note to see how pervasive it was.

Yes, I'm here due to email notices...

Hmmm...

I was flooded with a lot of messages from old threads that I had posted in, so I stopped by to see what was going on...

I'm just glad that I noticed this thread, or I'd still be wondering...
