One more proof for yahoo penalization
Here are some realestate directories which are facing the music of yahoo
http://www.search4mortgage.com/ Indexed pages in google : 125 yahoo : 2 http://www.irealestatedirectory.com/ Indexed pages in google : 7790 yahoo : 2 These 2 sites are hosted in same ip 74.52.58.210 along with 644 other sites most of which deals with same theme. So beware of hosting many sites in same ip , It is very hard to listen that yahoo music bye ujwal Last edited by Marcia : 12-21-2006 at 01:09 PM. |

This proves nothing of any kind of Yahoo penalization. There could be a hundred other reasons for those results. If you got some actual "proof" then feel free to share it, but remember, proof by its very nature must exclude all other possibilities.

This is for you ston3y, a theorem can be proved by showing the result with a particular procedure. I have given the procedure follow it and then ask me whether this procedure is correct or not. This penalization is up to yahoo attitude this is not a universal law to prove with a derivation. So trial and error is the reliable approach.

ujwal, trying to look at it realistically and objectively, if someone from a search engine would visit the site and look around at a lot of pages, what would they be thinking about the content on the site?

If you are talking about a user That depends on the keyword with which they go there.
If you are talking about a robot or search engine employee, they may come across one issue that these people are providing same information in different formats for commercial purpose and restricting others who are genuine in providing the information. and they may take a decision to remove the pages from their index. Anyway this is just my view what about you Marcia? Last edited by ujwal : 12-22-2006 at 03:49 AM. |

You've provided evidence to what has lead to your theory, but still not proof. The answer could still be a number of other factors which you have not (at least here) excluded as possibilities.

I have given evidence to prove that theory, I will be happy if you provide me with some other evidence, which says that this theory is wrong. i know you will be providing with 2 more sites of the same sort which deals with same theme
and are indexed. Friend i am taking about sites which are totally misusing the hosting with same information in different formats , 3 way linking and huge number of sites . let us test with those.Last edited by ujwal : 12-27-2006 at 09:05 AM. |

All I'm seeing from a quick look is a template with adsense ads on it. And as adsense is Javascript - try looking at the site with Javascript disabled.... For example - what's the difference between these pages when Javascript is disabled; and where's the content??? www.search4mortgage.com/alabama www.search4mortgage.com/kentucky www.search4mortgage.com/north_dakota |

Perhaps you need to be clearer on what you are trying to prove here. Are you proving that Yahoo bans totally crap sites that add absolutely no value to their index. OK. you proved that.
