Organic Search position @ Backcountry

Backcountry.com, a leading online retailer of outdoor gear, has an outstanding opportunity for a smart, thorough, experienced Organic Search Analyst to identify, champion, and manage organic opportunities within our search marketing team.

Summary
• Identify and prioritize organic keyword opportunities independently and with our paid search team;
• Repor on industry trends and identify Organic search trends as opportunities for our business;
• Coordinate with our Product Marketing, Creative, and Merchandising teams to increase coverage and positioning for these terms;
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of organic campaigns;
• Champion and train various internal departments on SEO.

Requirements
• 1-2 years content-driven SEO experience, ideally working closely with a paid search team;
• Proven record with SEO strategy and implementation experience; retail industry experience a huge plus;
• Experience with KW measurement, research and prioritization;
• Must be able to set goals as part of strategy and measure toward these goals;
• Can shine in a slightly chaotic, fast-paced environment;
• You’re a lover, not a fighter, who can communicate with a wide range of folks (engineers, writers, merchandisers, management);
• Bachelor’s Degree.
