Stylehive.com of San Francisco is seeking a "rock star ninja hacker" to take on the stuffy job title of "senior software engineer" as a member of the development team. At Stylehive, we have built a world-class system for shopping-related social bookmarking -- think del.icio.us but with features designed for products. We are looking for an engineer who wants to join in on the fun of building out a highly scalable consumer product while also laying the foundation for a top notch team.

The application is built on your classic open source Java stack of Spring and Hibernate running on Tomcat and talking to a MySQL database, so if you haven't yet switched to Ruby, you might just fit in here. We expect our team members to possess a strong team ethic, an almost fanatical dedication to quality, and an attention to detail bordering on obsession. Oh, and you should have really solid technical skills as well.

Requirements:
- Several years of experience designing and building web applications
- Fluent in Java/J2EE (obviously)
- Excellent understanding of SQL, including query optimizations

Nice to haves:
- Strong skills in scripting (any language)
- Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript (AJAX, just because I have to add it)
- Working knowledge of ActiveMQ or other JMS systems
- Solid understanding of Hibernate
