Search engine market in Italy

Hi, can somebody tell me what are the search engine's market in Italy this year.

I know that google is the bigest and second should be msn. Only 4° yahoo.

Can anybody confirm?

I can give you some figures off the top of my head based on organic placment traffic that I see every day with my Clients. As you say Google is #1 with YAHOO! and MSN following at a fair distance - you'll want to keep in mind VIRGILIO (www.virgilio.it) a very popular generalistic portal that can funnel traffic to sites, depending on your target and your strategy (paid or organic).

Ya that sort off the same data that I have. As im working on uk market but as Im Italien Im tring to have in mind Italien Market for some business there.

So for ur stats virgilio is 3°, followed by yahoo?

Remember that Virgilio, as Libero.it and Tiscali.it belong to the Google network search. These portals carry lot of traffic...

Ya we know that, but virgilio has a lot of own result, and very big database...

The only thing is that is quite expensive to get in there paid results.
