Certified e-mail services - recommendations?
I'm curious to know if anyone here as used a certified e-mail service where you can send an e-mail using a client such as Outlook or a web-based e-mail service and get a "confirmed delivery" receipt as well as knowing if your message has been opened. This is like what you've seen in Outlook where you get a receipt telling you it has been opened, but sometimes that feature doesn't work.
I'm trialing pointofmail and readnotify. Each has good and bad points, but would like to hear what others have experienced, and possibly suggest other services. I'm only interested in home or personal use, so an inexpensive method is preferred. |

Thanks, glebarr. Although these services look great, I'm looking for something to work along side my current e-mail account. Pointofmail and readnotify both allow tracking of e-mails you send by attaching a portion of text to a recipients e-mail address which is then removed once it goes through their server. This way it knows to start tracking the e-mail.
Does this clarification call out any other suggestions? |
