Question None Domain Root Site Banned in Google?

I have a prospective client which ranks very well in Yahoo and MSN but the fail to rank COMPLETELY from Google, as if they were banned. When you enter their domain name such as http://www.domain.com it instantly redirects you to http://www.domain.com/companyname

The site is using Microsoft CMS 2002 and I suspect this domain redirect is at the root of the problem.

Does anyone else have some insight into this problem?
Thanks
George

I'm not sure; I could tell if I saw the code but I can't get to the code yet. Do you know of a detection method I could use?

Thanks
