Spammy Sites in Google Results

Hi,

I started using a browser plugin called SiteAdvisor. This plugin warns you spammy sites in Google search results. Very often, warnings show up in both the natural search results and sponsored results.

I know people who got spyware by clicking on Google search results. Is Google addressing this? It looks really bad when the bad sites show up in the sponsored results. In other words, Google makes money while users get scammed by spammers.

No, the purpose of the SiteAdvisor plugin is not for detecting search engine spam. It does, however, give information about parasitic involvements of sites (and scams), which has nothing to do with search engine algorithms.
